Last Elemental Descendant?

THE BIG QUESTION

When Morro was found by Wu, he was shown to be in a gang eating out the trash. Morro seems not to show any grief or grudge toward his parents, who have mysteriously disappeared. The young boy is raised by Wu, trained in the ways of the ninja and later rogue after finding out he wasn’t the true green ninja. He finds out he is the elemental master of wind, and uses his powers to overcome the obstacles in his journeys to prove his master wrong.

Making the grave mistake of entering the Caves of Despair, Morro dies and is sent to the Cursed Realm. Morro having no hint of parents or siblings, who would pass on his elemental power of wind? Morro is our second example of a lost element,. The first would be Zane, as he can’t have children since he’s a robot, but was able to pass down his ice into the new titanium body he has. If Zane can do this, it’s likely he’ll pass down his elemental ability to someone else using the same methods or live for a very, very long time holding his ice powers.

But Morro isn’t a robot- he can only pass his element by blood. Does that mean Wind is lost forever?

THEORY

I don’t think wind is lost, and my theory is pretty wild for this one. I know that the First Spinjitzu Master is not completely lost, and he did not choose brave warriors to give some of his legendary power to for it to go waste. I think that, in the realm that his soul resides in- the Departed Realm, most likely- he still watches over Ninjago. Through his wisdom and experience, he chooses the most courageous people to pass down a lost element to. Something else to substitute the FSM’s pickings would maybe be the previous master of that ability. They would pick out the individual themselves, with the expectation that they will carry out their legacy The latter seems to make more sense to me, because the FSM is more long gone than the previous masters that participated in the Serpentine Wars.

Or, on another note, since it is Cloud Kingdom that writes the destinies, are they the ones who have the privilege of picking the elemental masters? Cloud Kingdom is one of the most sketchiest concepts in Ninjago I’ve seen, with Fenwick being extremely selfish and Dareth crashing into a car happening. I wouldn’t trust any of the writers there to be able to write an elemental master’s destiny, after what happened with the lead writer being easily manipulated.

How do you feel about this theory? This is one of the first theory posts, so I’m hoping it’s filled someone’s thirst for answers. Comment down below your thoughts and suggestions!
